Stuart 

As the county seat, Stuart is home to just over 16,000 residents, as well as miles of interrupted shoreline on Hutchinson Island and a quaint downtown. Palm City

Children living in the area are served by Martin County Public Schools, which was rated as the number one school district in the state in 2019. In addition to various elementary, middle, and high schools, the district operates preschool programs, charter schools, virtual school, and other specialty institutions. A majority of students are proficient in both math and reading, and the district boasts a low 17:1 student-teacher ratio, as well as an 87% graduation rate.
