Just north of Orlando’s iconic lake is the historic neighborhood of Lake Eola Heights with 1,101 homes. As a designated historic district, Lake Eola Heights is one of downtown Orlando’s oldest and most architecturally diverse, predominantly residential neighborhoods. There are shady, tree-lined streets with a mix of Craftsman, Mediterranean Revival, Colonial Revival, and frame vernacular residences that blend with Art Deco and traditional homes, as well as established multi story condominiums. Historic brick streets crisscross the community, fringed by wide sidewalks and elegant homes. Homebuyers also have a range of townhomes and multi-story condominium complexes featuring in-house fitness centers and views of Lake Eola. Homes range from 1-5 bedrooms and from 799 square feet to 2,879 square feet in living area.

Residents can easily walk to nearby parks, commercial districts and Orlando’s Central Business District. Lake Eola Park features walking and cycling paths, and hosts concerts and plays at the Walt Disney Amphitheater. The park's lake has iconic swan-shaped paddle boats, a tribute to the real-life feathered residents. In the neighborhood's leafy historic district, brick-paved streets are lined with 1800s farmhouses, cottages and neoclassical churches. Lake Eola Park hosts a bevy of special events out of the Walt Disney Amphitheater and features an iconic concrete fountain, swan-shaped paddleboats available to rent and a paved walkway encircling the lake. East down Amelia Street is the Orlando YMCA, home to outdoor pools and indoor facilities with gym equipment and daycare programs for local kids. To the north are the Gaston Edwards and Lake Ivanhoe Parks, both offering opportunities to cast out fishing lines and soak up lake views while walking its trails.

Local markets and delis are just a short walk down the street. Eola General Store is a local market and deli offering a range of bottled wines, hot beverages, sandwiches, cheese and charcuterie boards. Chic commercial districts like Thorton Park are just across the street from Lake Eola.

Lake Eola is the center of Downtown Orlando. They have a drone show on Christmas and craft fairs on weekends. Performing arts venues like the Abbey and the Mezz host concerts and stage musical readings and can be rented for weddings or private parties. Less than a mile away is the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, which hosts touring Broadway productions annually. The Central Business District is a walkable half a mile from most area homes. Along with that walkability, neighbors are a short distance from major freeways like the I-4 Express and the East-West Expressway. Orlando International Airport is 26 minutes away.
