Roser Park is one of St. Petersburg's most interesting and charming neighborhoods. Roser Park is located within the boundaries of 4th Street and Martin Luther King Jr Street to the east/west and by Booker Creek and Ingleside Avenue on the north and south. It is most recognized for its green space around the creek and hilltop residences and is the first area to be noted as an official Historic District in the town of St. Petersburg. With scenic, tree-lined streets and a welcoming community, Roser Park offers a unique blend of history, community, and convenience.

A small residential neighborhood with tree-lined streets, Historic Roser Park has a mix of uniquely American architectural styles, such as Craftsman bungalows and Colonial Revival and Prairie homes. This historic neighborhood is home to many private homes with Mediterranean or Spanish-style architecture. In Historic Roser Park, roughly 45% of buildings are single detached homes, whereas the remainder are mainly large apartment buildings and small apartment buildings. Within its boundaries are 146 historic structures. This neighborhood offers mainly lofts and one bedroom homes.

Green spaces include peaceful, 19th-century Greenwood Cemetery, with monuments to Civil War soldiers as well as graves of early pioneers. Roser Park, from which this neighborhood takes its name, has royal palms, oaks and lush flower gardens. A walking trail lines sections of Booker Creek, which runs through the area. The Historic Outdoor Museum of Roser Park is an award-winning creation of local resident, Ron Motyka, featuring 28 markers that describe the features, homes and historical significance of the neighborhood. It winds along Booker Creek and throughout the neighborhood.

I-275 is easily accessible for travel.
