Situated just south of Venice, Sarasota National encompasses an exceptional offering of Venice with beautiful residences from splendid single-family homes to charming condominiums with great amenities. Sarasota National is a unique blended community built for golfers and nature lovers. The community is divided into a pair of distinct subdivisions that provide a luxurious lifestyle for all its residents. The  800 lots feature carriage-style townhomes, villas and estate homes with Spanish Mediterranean styles. The community has 2 sections. In the golf section, your golf membership is included in the HOA fee. There is also a section of the community dedicated to residents who love the surroundings but either do not golf or just want to play occasionally. This section has no mandatory golf fees attached to your home.

Sarasota National was built with input from the National Audubon Society to lessen the community’s environmental impact on 2400 acres. As a result, the homes are set amid 1,300 acres of protected land and open space. The centerpiece of Lake Village is the natural environment, as the subdivision features 350 acres of lakes, natural habitats and nature-watching. While many of the homes are on the water, the community also features a preserve, with all kinds of animals.

Amenities include an 18-hole championship golf course, known as Sarasota National Golf Course that is a private golf club, a 32,000-square-foot resort-style clubhouse, which is part of a three-building community complex surrounded by additional amenities to include a pool with beach entry, outdoor tiki bar, spa, tennis and pickleball courts, state of the art fitness center, coffee cafe, playground and an 8,000-square-foot lawn designed for events. The clubhouse comes complete with dining options. There is also a state of the art practice facility featuring a chipping green, practice putting green and a practice tee with an upscale aqua-range.

Sarasota National is conveniently located along Tamiami Trail. This bustling street is lined with restaurants, shopping centers and other services for your convenience. In a short distance north in the city of Venice, residents can find dining delights, boutique shops, museums and theatrical venues, as well as many more attractions. Just south of Sarasota, Venice is a Gulf Coast gem with something for everyone. Known as Florida's Cultural Coast, Sarasota is infused with countless cultural offerings and is known for its vibrant arts scene.

Venice is located between two major coastal cities, with St. Petersburg to the north and Fort Myers to the south. Because of the area’s large nature preserves and suburban layout, the area is mostly car dependent. Sarasota National sits along Highway 41, offering easy access to the rest of Florida’s western coast.
