Terrace Park is a neighborhood within the city limits of  North Tampa, featuring established single-family homes featuring small to mid-sized ranchers, cozy homes with landscaped yards and an eclectic mix of two-story dwellings that includes custom homes, traditional split levels and Cape Cods. Many of the properties for sale in Terrace Park come with fully-fenced backyards, as well as generous master suits, laminate floors, stainless steel appliances and wood cabinets in the kitchen and so much more. Mature large oaks guard many of the Tampa homes in this Temple Terrace community.

Terrace Park is home to Busch Gardens, The Museum of Science and Industry, Saunders Planetarium, Adventure Island, a sprawling water park that features a 17,000-square-foot wave pool, a lazy river and the brand new Shaka-Lake Shores, an interactive, kid-friendly play zone. On the northern edge of Terrace Park at the intersection of science, technology and innovation in the Tampa Bay area is the Museum of Science & Industry. The university of South Florida is across Fowler Avenue. Attractions there include the Botanical Gardens, offering guided tours and field trips, the USF Contemporary Art Museum and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza, the centerpiece of the school’s greenway concept. Terrace Park conveniently located for residents traveling the area's major interstates, as all three, I-275, I-75 and I-4, surround the neighborhood. Traditional neighborhood activities take place at Takomah Trail Park, a greenspace for passive recreation that hosts many of the events. Organized athletic activity takes place at the Greco Softball Complex, run by the City of Tampa. The park features four lighted softball fields for the youth and adult tournaments held there throughout the year.

Retail and dining options are plentiful in Terrace Park. There are two Publix-anchored shopping centers in the neighborhood, and eateries are abundant along Fowler Avenue, 56th Street and Busch Boulevard. Mediterranean restaurants are especially prevalent, including Petra, which offers authentic Middle Eastern dishes.
